Grilled Hemp-Fu

Grilled Hemp-Fu is one of the three recipes proposed by chef Francesco Basco during the show cooking of the “N&B in Cucina” project dedicated to Hemp-Fu.


  • 2 blocks of Hemp-Fu
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, coconut or avocado
  • 3 squeezed limes
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin or paprika
  • Salt to taste


  1. In a small bowl, prepare the marinade by mixing all the ingredients.
  2. Drizzle, brush, or soak the Hemp-Fu strips in the marinade for about 20 minutes.
  3. Grill for about 5 minutes per side on a previously oiled plate or grill, then serve. Alternatively you can also prepare hemp-fu as skewers with vegetables.
